Yes, the Archive provides accessibility for people with reduced mobility, with adapted toilets and a lift on the building's inner facade.

Do you accept donations of photographs?
The Archive accepts private donations following assessment of the photographs. If you would like to make a donation, please contact the Archive staff by e-mail or phone.

Can you take photos of the images consulted in the reference room?
Yes, visitors may take photos with their own cameras.

Can you get copies of photographs in the Archive?
Yes, our service prints copies of photos in a number of formats according to the municipal price list.
Can groups visit the temporary exhibitions?
Yes, the Archive offers group visits to temporary exhibitions by appointment.
Can you visit the inside of the Archive?
The Arxiu Fotogràfic de Barcelona organises visits with commentary to its facilities for professional photographers and archivists only.
Can you consult the specialised photo library?
Yes, by appointment. There is no loan service.

Does the Archive offer a photo restoration service?
No, the Archive does not offer this service.

Where can I buy the books published by the Archive?
Our books are on sale in the Archive reception and in bookshops throughout the city.
